Thanksgiving weekend is generally a time dedicated to gluttony, crack-of-dawn shopping, and the official start to the holiday season. Our weekend was a little bit different this year as we discovered we are having a baby!
Mama and Papa Mid couldn't be more overjoyed at the news of our impending arrival, but then the hard part started- waiting! We scheduled our first doctor's appointment for December 16th which meant three long weeks of "wishing and hoping and planning and praying" (ten points to the first person to name the film featuring the verse from that song).
So here we are, still waiting for the arrival of the 16th, but happily looking forward to the big reveal to our families at Christmas. If you're here- glad to have you join us for what is sure to be an amazing adventure.
